As a market leader in digital billboards and multimedia kiosks, PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS knew that it was important for its customers to have a standard and that was one of the main reasons that led to the development of the NOMYU digital billboard.

NOMYU is guided by a philosophy of high quality since its inception. His birth is given in 2014, but his story begins earlier. All the details have been thought out to detail, from the brand, design, structure, components and technology.

The Brand

The goal of PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS was to achieve a supreme product, with all the quality demanded by the market. We wanted the brand of this product to represent a set of values associated with quality, technology, innovation, future, development and effectiveness.

A survey of brand extensions clearly showed that the brand name could affect perceptions of quality whether of the product or service. Therefore, it was very important to present a name that identified the excellence of the product.


The “NOMYU” brand as we know it today is the result of a succession of changes. Originally, the first name thought was "NONIO". Idea coming from the Portuguese discoveries.

Invented by the Portuguese mathematician Pedro Nunes, the Nónio was a measuring device, used mainly to make measurements with rigor, allowing to plan navigations.

The perspective of innovation management at this time leads us to understand traces of the essence of the Portuguese people. It took a nation to focus on continuous improvement, to have a mission, a long-term vision, to be organized, systematic and exploitative. So that we could achieve all that we conquered.

Following this approach, the company PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS felt that it was close to the brand that would be name the most technological digital billboard that the company had developed so far.

The main desire of PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS was that the brand was unique and different. The passion for innovation and an extraordinary vision, made us think about possible changes and from "NONIO", went to "NOMYU".
