CM Guimarães: Customized service with digital kiosks
Citizens who seek the services of the Guimarães City Council currently have a customized and high quality service through the technological solutions of PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS and SKILLMIND group.
PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS was a technological partner of the project developed by the SKILLMIND group and responsible for the design, assembly and production of the ticket dispensing kiosks for the Guimarães City Council.
Distant are the days, when the citizens of Guimarães had to go to several service stations (more than 20) that worked several hours, to consult a certain public service.
The citizen had the need to move from one service to the other, to obtain different information. An annoying process, which caused complaints.

As part of the administrative simplification and modernization process, the Guimarães City Council has adopted a complete queuing management system, which improves the efficiency of service, providing a more organized, convenient and simple service.
The Municipality of Guimarães, located in the Historic Center of the City, has a new service area, which provides citizens with a comfortable waiting.
The QMAGINE queuing system integrates:
- Ticket dispenser kiosk QUARTZ with touchscreen display with 17";
- Digital signage display with CORPORATE TV which includes: informational footer, layout customization and voice call;
- Customized backoffice;
- Collection of statistical data;
- Application Guimarães CityFy (tickets by SMS).
It is intended, therefore, to foster a management of the service of the Guimarães City Council that guarantees the citizens an efficient service and that better satisfies their expectations, in a unique modern and attractive space.
E-governance (communication between citizens and municipalities through the adoption of technological solutions) can in fact help the public administration, reduce costs while improving the provision of services.
The QMAGINE by PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS ticket dispensing kiosks are intended to improve service to citizens by making available a wide variety of technology solutions that are capable of interacting and delivering better experiences.
