PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS’ CORAL Interactive Table for Museum of Faia
PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS' CORAL interactive table was a pioneer in a project developed together with a national partner, dedicated to the gallery of the Centro Interpretativo da Faia, a village located in the municipality of Sernancelhe, Viseu (Portugal).
PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS interactive tables are extremely intuitive and can be a guide to help explore the exhibitions and navigate the stories told by the museums, which are characterized as spaces of preservation, dissemination, knowledge and memory.
The CORAL multitouch table was specially developed for this project to explain the history of the village before and after the construction of the Vilar Dam, built in 1965, through the navigation and visualization of the museum gallery collection, which allows an interactive approach to visitors. The interactivity thus awakens visitors' senses and stimulates experimentation.

The functioning of the interactive table is similar to a large tablet, but with the advantage that the contents available can be manipulated by several people simultaneously. The interactive tables are very useful and fun to use, and make it easy to view multimedia content.
The CORAL model is a digital table with interactive display, which works as a virtual directory, obtaining various apps and features. It was developed thinking also in people with accessibility and/or conditioned mobility, since the display can obtain different inclinations according to the need and usability of the user.
The use of interactive virtual tables is increasing, especially in museums, which have followed along with the technological revolution. The concern to provide attractive, dynamic and interactive experiences to visitors is increasingly a reality and PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS’ interactive tables help to provide these experiences to all visitors.
