Digital Billboards connected to LoRa network

The technological world in which we live is very focused on what we can call the Internet of Things (IoT), that is, a network of physical objects capable of gathering and transmitting data. However, for this ecosystem to function efficiently, it was necessary to develop new communication protocols. This is where LoRa (which means long range) comes in, a radio frequency technology that allows communication between devices over long distances.

PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS, always at the technological vanguard, has already joined this system that allows devices to "communicate" with each other and with the internet without having support for 3G / 4G or Wi-Fi networks. This means that it is no longer necessary to have internet on all equipment, because, with LoRa technology, the sensors inside the kiosk or digital billboard connect directly to a LoRa gateway, which can even be 10 kilometers away. This gateway will also connect to the internet and gives the data to theTHE BRAIN software portal and others PARTTEAM's software.

With the LoRa technology, therefore, it is not necessary to have internet at all kiosks and/or digital billboards, taking into account that this system allows effective communication over long distances, with minimum energy consumption. As an example, if there are four mupis within a radius of 10 kilometers, you only need to have a connection with a LoRa gateway, instead of providing internet for the four devices.

The Municipality of Loures already uses the LoRa technology, more specifically in the ZYTEC interactive digital billboard, designed by PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS.

The bet on PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS customizable technological solutions for Smart Cities is indispensable for their progress and technological evolution, where the focus is on the formation of intelligent citizens, making cities more creative, sustainable and intelligent.
