EPAL counted with PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS for the optimization of payments and invoices with self-service kiosks
Empresa Portuguesa das Águas Livres SA (EPAL), is the largest and oldest Portuguese company in the water sector, being today a worldwide reference company and having as a goal the integral management of the urban water cycle.
In order to optimize payment, invoicing and register metering processes, EPAL resorted to the services of PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS for the development of self-service kiosks, Mindelo model for indoor use.
Allied to the self-service kiosks, PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS developed the software frontoffice, with integration of EPAL's AQUAMATRIX software, a commercial management system conceived and used by EPAL.
This software aims to improve the management model through an integrated approach to commercial and technical management, with information systems that ensure increased efficiency and effectiveness.
With the introduction of Mindelo self-service kiosks and the integration of EPAL software, several processes were simplified:

Integrated system with Aquamatrix software:
Customers can be identified by their VAT number (manual insertion via numeric keypad), invoice ID (barcode scanning) or customer code (manual insertion via numeric keypad).
Readings and Payments
In the software, customers can choose to make payment of their bill(s), provide the water reading or opt-in/cancel electronic bill sending.
Customers have access to their customer accounts, where they can select the address they wish to see, access the bills to pay, and also have access to the register of the last readings sent.
There are several payment methods that customers can use, cash or ATM. In case of payments via ATM, these can be made by inserting the ATM card, contactless or even by MBWay.
