Livraria Lello: PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS Technology and the Heritage of Portugal


The GALLA self-service kiosk by PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS was chosen, in a project led by a partner, by Livraria Lello, a bookstore located in the centre of Porto, where the origins date back to the late 20th century.


Visited every day by thousands of visitors from all over the world, the cultural heritage that is Livraria Lello continues to live in perfect harmony with its time, being more alive, more inhabited and more dynamic than ever.


The use of multimedia kiosks is increasingly common in the presentation to the public of all types of products and in the improvement of services / processes in various sectors.


The GALLA model, a fully customized self-service kiosk, contains sober but simultaneously modern lines, that allied to the interactive technology, they give the kiosks an unusual ability to provide information autonomously to all users and customers.


The implementation of the kiosk at Livraria Lello allows the minting of a coin illustrating part of the heritage of Portugal, so that visitors can take some of the Portuguese culture with them.
