Melgaço Transportation Coordination Center Modernizes Passenger Information with YTRANSPORT Software from PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS

The Melgaço Transport Coordination Center has a digital solution dedicated to the management and presentation of information on road transport. Developed by PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS, YTRANSPORT is software that centralizes information on schedules and services, providing passengers with clear and up-to-date data on departures and arrivals.

The solution addresses an increasingly relevant need in transport spaces: to make information available in a simple, visible and dynamic way, reducing dependence on static media and facilitating consultation by those waiting at the terminal.

Departure and Arrival Information in a Clearer Format

At the Melgaço Transport Centre, YTRANSPORT is associated with two digital information points: one dedicated to departures and the other to arrivals.

The information provided allows passengers to quickly access essential details about each service, especially arrival and departure times, city of origin, operator/carrier, and the days and frequency of service operation.

The information is organized to facilitate reading from a distance, using a structured visual presentation, paying attention to legibility, font size, line organization, and visual differentiation. The goal is simple: to allow the passenger to quickly identify the service they are looking for, even from a distance.

The solution can present information relating to different transport operators, including examples such as FlixBus, Rede Expressos or municipal transports, allowing different services to be categorized within the same information system.

Centralized Management Through Web Backoffice

In addition to the information made available to the public, YTRANSPORT includes a Web Backoffice that allows the administration of the Transportation Coordination Center to centrally manage the content presented in the digital systems.

Through this interface, it is possible to manage departure and arrival times, origin and destination locations, operators and carriers, as well as the different stops associated with the services.

Summary - Data and Statistics

The first page of the back office consists of a set of graphs that represent data and statistics for all content entered into the back office, from the number of locations to the number of stops, and also the number of visible or invisible elements.

Arrivals - Data relating to Arrivals

In the "Transportation - Arrivals" menu, you can enter data related to arrivals at the terminal. Here you can enter information such as time, origin location, service/operator, stop/frequency, status, and notes.

Matches - Data relating to Matches

Similarly, as with Arrivals, the "Transportation - Departures" menu allows you to enter data related to departures from the terminal. Here you can enter information such as time, origin location, service/operator, stop/frequency, status, and notes.

Services - Registration of Services and Operators

In this menu, you can add the transportation services or operators that operate at the terminal. Simply enter the operator's name and, if necessary, the type of service provided.

Locations - Location of Origin or Destination

In the "Locations" menu, you can enter all the origin or destination locations that are part of the bus terminal's routes.

Terminals - List of Digital Terminals

Here is a list of terminals (Displays, LED Panels, Digital Mupi, etc.) that are associated with the back office and where the entered information will be made available to passengers at the transport center.

Users - Backoffice Access

This menu allows you to manage all access to the software's back office. New back office access users can be created, as well as the user type defined (Administrator or User).

This centralized management allows information to be kept organized and up-to-date, with changes that can be reflected on displays in real time. In this way, management has greater control over the information made available to passengers, without the need for physical interventions at information points.

The back office also allows for the management of authorized users and access profiles, ensuring that platform management can be distributed according to the needs of the operation.

The implementation of YTRANSPORT at the Melgaço Transport Coordination Center demonstrates how digitalization can contribute to making transport spaces more informative, organized, and passenger-oriented.

By combining digital information, centralized management, and real-time updates, the solution fits into a Smart Mobility vision, where technology is used to improve the experience in transport spaces and facilitate access to information.

Developed by PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS, YTRANSPORT transforms timetable and service information into a dynamic digital channel, contributing to a simpler and more efficient experience for those who use public transport.
