PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS develops and produces self-check-in kiosks for logistics management at The Navigator Company in Setúbal

PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS developed and produced a set of interactive outdoor kiosks for The Navigator Company, installed at various strategic points in the industrial complex in Setúbal.

This equipment was designed to optimize the registration of entries and exits of heavy vehicles, especially trucks, in the loading and unloading areas, also assuming access control and management functions. The project is part of a strategy to modernize and digitize logistics processes in an industrial environment.

Technology for Access Management and Control

Developed specifically to operate in demanding outdoor and industrial environments, the SENSES model kiosks feature a robust and weather-resistant structure, ensuring reliability and continuous performance.

The units integrate:

  • A4 printers for logistics documentation
  • Receipt printers for registration certificates
  • QR code reader for identification and validation
  • Intercom system with camera for remote communication
  • Integration with Navigator's internal software

Through these self-check-in kiosks, drivers can independently register their entry or exit, validate information, and access specific instructions for loading and unloading areas. Remote communication also allows for enhanced security and ensures support whenever needed.

This approach directly contributes to logistics optimization, reducing waiting times, eliminating manual processes, and ensuring greater fluidity in the movement of vehicles within the industrial complex.

Digitization of Processes and Operational Control

The implementation of these self-check-in kiosks represents a significant step in the digitalization of Navigator's operations. By centralizing registration and access control in automated equipment, the company strengthens operational control and improves the traceability of vehicle movements.

Integration with internal systems allows for more rigorous information management, reducing human error and increasing efficiency in coordinating logistics operations.

In addition, process automation contributes to a more organized, secure, and technologically advanced industrial environment, aligned with the demands of Industry 4.0.

With this project for The Navigator Company, PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS reinforces its ability to develop robust technological solutions for complex industrial environments.

The self-check-in kiosks deployed in this industrial complex in Setúbal demonstrate how innovation, combined with engineering and functional design, can transform logistics processes, promoting greater efficiency, control, and digitalization in industrial operations.
