PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS Self-service Ticketing Kiosks Improve FLIXBUS Ticket Purchasing Experience in Portugal
The experience of purchasing tickets for transport services continues to be one of the main points of contact between operators and passengers, with the growing demand for more efficient digital solutions that optimize the customer service process.
In this sense, FLIXBUS, one of the largest international road transport operators, invested in the modernization of its physical points of sale in Portugal through the implementation of self-service ticketing kiosks, developed and produced by PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS.
These interactive devices, or ticket vending machines, allow users to search for schedules, reserve seats and purchase tickets autonomously and conveniently, avoiding queues and saving time.
Integration and User Experience
To meet the specific needs of FLIXBUS, PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS developed a tailor-made solution, with an ergonomic and functional design, fully adapted to the brand's visual identity.
PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS was responsible for developing the ticketing software installed in the self-service kiosks, software where customers can search for transport destinations and timetables, buy or reserve seats on FLIXBUS buses and make their payment.
The technological component of the solution integrates the YTransOP system developed by PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS, which communicates directly with the FLIXBUS API, ensuring synchronization with the operator's data, such as schedules, prices and seat availability.
This integration ensures a fluid and intuitive user experience, with all steps – from research to reservation and purchase – centralized in the same self-service kiosk. After completing the purchase, the ticket is printed directly on the device and sent to the passenger by email, for greater convenience.

The ticketing kiosks supplied belong to the MEDIA QSR line, in wall-mounted and free-standing versions, for both indoor and outdoor environments, ensuring their adaptation to different locations and operational contexts.
With a robust, modern and personalized design, these kiosks combine advanced technology with a resistant structure, designed for intensive and continuous use.
