Sideway Motel uses PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS self-checkin and self-checkout kiosks for organizational innovation
Aiming to contribute to the development of the hotel industry, PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS produced and developed TURIN self-checkin and TRANSACT self-checkout kiosks for the Sideway Motel, in Penafiel.
Especially advantageous during peak hours, these self-service kiosks avoid queues and improve the customer experience, as well as providing greater autonomy for users.
So, as far as the self-checkin kiosk of the TURIN model is concerned, it works very simply. The customer arrives by car and selects the room at the kiosk, filling in his data. This way, he creates a customer card. After these steps are taken, the entrance gate and the room open automatically.
For check-out at the TRANSACT kiosk, the guest must identify himself, namely through his customer data. Then, the amount to be paid (stay and any consumptions that may have been made in the room) is presented at the kiosk.
The client can pay in cash or by card, and then a payment receipt will be printed. If the customer wishes, and through the Zonesoft API system (billing system), an invoice can be printed and even sent by email.
The kiosks have drawers and intercoms in case guests have any difficulty with the process at the kiosks or when requesting the bill.
