On the other hand, the license plate recognition cameras installed in the taxi zone allow the system to register and inform which taxi is ready to receive passengers.
How it Works?
1. Taxi arrival and registration
When taxis arrive at the airport, they are recorded by a strategically placed license plate recognition camera. A second camera identifies the first taxi in line ready to receive passengers.
2. Ticket Dispenser
Passengers can use a multimedia ticket dispenser kiosk from PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS to obtain a numbered ticket. Each ticket displays the passenger number on the waiting list.
3. Informative display
As soon as a taxi is ready to receive a passenger, a display (strategically placed) updates the taxi number and registration number, informing the passenger which taxi to board.
4. Real-time management
In the system's back office, an operator records the taxis that have departed, ensuring that the display only shows available taxis.
No Need to Wait in Long Lines
With PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS ticket dispensing kiosks, it is possible to develop an interactive terminal that, through innovative technology, allows the passenger to collect a ticket number to wait for the taxi in a simple, quick and efficient way.
Combined with the multimedia kiosks, displays can be positioned so that passengers can be informed of the ticket numbers that are ready to enter the next available taxi.
Once the cameras record all the license plates of the taxis in the queue, a camera at the beginning of the line records the number plates of each taxi and another camera at the end of the line records the number plate of the first taxi ready to receive customers, the passengers can go. Go to the ticket dispenser kiosk to collect a ticket with a waiting number, which will be associated with an available taxi.
