HYBOXUV: The disinfectant box of objects with UV-C light for your home and for your company

At the vanguard of technology and innovation, and given the global health crisis we are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS developed HYBOXUV, an ultraviolet (UV) disinfectant box that disinfects objects such as cell phones, tablets, books, keys, money. Anyway, all kinds of materials.

HYBOXUV disinfects any type of device, eliminating bacteria, germs and viruses. With the use of UV-C ultraviolet light, the devices are disinfected in a few minutes, being free of any type of virus or bacteria harmful to health.

This ultraviolet light disinfectant box is designed to fit in any space and to be able to disinfect several objects simultaneously – thus meeting today’s hygienic needs. The complete disinfection of the objects takes only a few minutes after placing them in the box.

This disinfectant solution from PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS is ideal for the health crisis we are experiencing, especially for its unique characteristics:

  • Has as an on/off button;
  • Disinfects multiple objects at the same time;
  • Doesn’t damage mobile devices;
  • Features a ready light indicator;
  • Disinfects any type of material.

In addition, it has three major advantages.

  • As a technological solution that uses UV-C ultraviolet light, the UV light waves present there destroy bacteria, germs and viruses, preventing them from spreading.
  • Regarding the disinfection of objects – and taking into account that they are a mean of spreading viruses and bacteria that are dangerous to health – the use of UV-C light helps to eliminate them effectively.
  • Finally, and about disinfecting mobile devices, UV-C light can be used on a wide variety of mobile devices, without the risk of damaging them.

Available in any color and made of lacquered steel, stainless steel and aluminum, the HYBOXUV also has a standing option. To facilitate the use of HYBOXUV, PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS created the possibility of using the disinfectant box with a foot support.

This new disinfectant solution is part of the Hambire line, which is a registered trademark of PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS, a world reference in the manufacture and development of multimedia kiosks, digital billboards, interactive tables and various equipment for all types of sectors and industries.

What is ultraviolet radiation and how does it work?

Ultraviolet radiation comprises the fraction of the electromagnetic spectrum that includes wavelengths below visible light. This fraction is subdivided into three types: UV-A, UV-B and UV-C. Given the type of UV radiation that is emitted, there are several biological damages that can result from it. UV-A radiation can cause changes in the skin, causing it to age. UV-B radiation, in addition to acting on skin aging, is responsible for causing genetic mutations that lead to the development of skin cancer. Finally, UV-C radiation – for having the shortest wavelength and, therefore, the most energy – is considered the most destructive, that is, the one that covers the germicidal band. According to a report released by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), this is the most effective radiation in disinfection.

Therefore, UV-C radiation disinfection was created to increase the efficiency of manual disinfection. This system has been considered an effective technology to decrease contamination and the potential for infection, and it has also been proven to inactivate up to 99,9% of viruses, bacteria and fungi in the environment. Furthermore, these disinfection systems use lamps that emit low and continuous doses of ultraviolet light, capable of killing most viruses and bacteria without harming the skin, eyes and other human tissues.

But other advantages of UV-C radiation must be highlighted. Tests carried out demonstrated that bacteria and pathogens don’t resist this radiation and that it can even replace potentially dangerous chemicals. Most of the UV-C systems are also easy to use and many already have remote control, such as the disinfection robots that are beginning to be used in hospitals. Other systems are, in turn, mobile, such as the disinfectant box from PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS, a highly innovative, portable and affordable solution that allows a safe and targeted dosage of UV-C light to eliminate quickly and effectively harmful pathogens. Disinfection starts at the press of a single button and features an operation indicator light that informs you when cleaning is done.
