CITIO is the winner of European Product Design Awards 2020
Digital Billboard CITIO, is the winner of the European Product Design Awards 2020, in the “Kiosks & Event Supplies” category.
The European Product Design Awards recognizes the work of talented international product designers, whose function is to improve our daily lives with their practical and thoughtful creations. The aim is to reward strategic thinking and creativity when creating an authentic product.
CITIO presents itself as an interactive digital billboard that integrates digital tools combined to provide positive and innovative experiences to its users. Its design – with simple and modern lines – was conceived to be used anywhere, whether inside or outside. CITIO combines the quality of the best technological components and the best materials with an unmistakable design.
In the production of this equipment, sustainability issues were taken into account, such as the use of solar energy through the latest solar panel technology. CITIO also includes two screens – one at the front and one at the back – to provide more information to users, like the hours and temperature.
The design of a product is not just about its aesthetics. It also expresses ergonomics and the ability to adapt to different concepts and to provide new and improved experiences for users.
