Lisbon Metro uses ticketing kiosk to issue VIVA Card in a few minutes
PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS produced and adapted kiosks for the VIVA project, a project developed by OTLIS – Transport Operators of the Lisbon region, a complementary grouping of transport operators that provides interoperability services to ticketing.
VIVA kiosk, located at Alameda station, in Lisbon, produces the Lisboa VIVA card in a few minutes, in a self-service mode. This equipment reads the Citizen's Card to automatically fill in the data and use the photograph. This way, it is possible to order the card and obtain it at the moment.
The ticket vending kiosk produced/adapted by PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS offers several benefits:
- Elimination of queues;
- No need to fill out forms;
- No need to have a photograph (it is the same as the Citizen's Card);
- No need to wait days for the production of the card.

The kiosk operating method is very simple. You just have to insert the Citizen Card in the machine, fill in the missing data and accept the terms and conditions for the issuing and use of the new Lisboa VIVA card. You must then pay by debit card and within a few minutes the card is printed and can be used immediately.
