PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS innovates the HONORIS hotel chain with modern and versatile self-service kiosks
Being PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS a worldwide reference in the development and manufacture of multimedia kiosks, self-service equipment, digital billboards, among many other solutions, this one joined forces with HONORIS, a chain of Hotels and Hostels located in Lisbon.
PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS developed and produced the indoor kiosks GALLA XEKOUT, a modern and versatile self-service kiosk, ideal for the hotel sector.

Self-Checkin process explanation:
Initially a homepage is presented to all customers, who have the possibility to choose the desired language, thus starting the checkin process;
The customer must enter the number and name in which his reservation is associated so that it can be easily found. The search is made through a REST request to the Colibri PMS API taking into account the data entered. Being found the reservation, the API returns the same and the data relating to it. PMS Colibri also allows you to change the booking, allowing you to add or remove guests depending on the type of accommodation selected;
Once the booking has been found, it is important that the customer agrees to the terms and conditions in order to validate the booking;
In order to validate the identification of each customer, an identification document must be scanned at the kiosk and then, through a webcam, it will be validated if the scanned identification corresponds to the customer's identification;
After all this process, the customer should check if the entire reservation is correct, and proceed to pay the reservation through the method that is most convenient. At the time of payment is consulted the amount owed, taking into account the customer's reservation, which is returned by API PMS Colibri, is also issued the payment transaction and method of payment for billing purposes, and for subsequent issuance of the invoice to the customer;

The self-service kiosks produced for the Honoris chain have three main components that aim to improve each guest's experience:
- Scanner for scanning guest identification documents: through the ZMR it is possible to pre-fill the necessary information as well as scanning identification documents, since the presentation of these documents is mandatory during the reservation process;
- APT (Multibanco terminal): Payment of bookings by card or MBWay;
- Webcam: Allows confirmation that the person who presented the ID document on the scanner is the holder of the same.
Besides all these components, the self-service kiosk GALLA XEKOUT, designed with minimalist and sober lines, allows a reduction in human resources costs. It makes the payment process quicker and more autonomous, since the customer can choose one of the different methods, such as MBWay, Multibanco or contactless.
